The Story
I was applying for internships on the NASA STEM Gateway portal when I noticed their header design.
At the time I was taking a "digital toolbox" course (portfolio linked on my works page) and learning how to use Photoshop, and decided I'd attempt to redesign it as a personal project.
The Original Design
Noticing the STEM theme reflected in the background and photo choices as well as color match to logo, I chose to maintain the theme but incorporate stronger colors.
My Re-Design
I used Photoshop to blend a colorful binary code background with math writing. I made the photos shaped and connected in the form of chemical bonds to tie in the STEM theme.
The new title font has a 3D swirl effect, as I wanted the title to stand out more in this re-design.
